Mount View Colquitz Community Association

2) What does your group do?

We further the interests of residents, property owners and business owners of the Mount View – Colquitz area. We promote a high standard of quality of life and a healthy, vibrant community by addressing issues such as land use planning and streetscapes, environment and parks, traffic and transportation, social wellness and community celebration, and emergency preparation. We represent the recommendations and resolutions of the Association to all levels of government.

3) When does your group meet? Please include board meetings.

The MVCCA meets at 7pm, the third Thursday of every month except July, August or December at Colquitz Middle School, 505 Dumeresq St.

4) What is your geographical jurisdiction with respect to the Colquitz watershed?

Our jurisdiction is south of McKenzie Ave. Between the Trans-Canada Highway and the Pat Bay Highway.

5) What projects have you accomplished with respect to the Colquitz watershed?

Provide volunteers for Swan Lake Creek projects.
